Daytona is an open source development manager which provides self-hosted solutions that automate development environment creation, management, and optimization. It also streamlines the setup and maintenance of development environments, giving a centralized system for managing access controls, configurations, and workflows.
Our work on Daytona’s design system ensured benefits for both developers and designers. Those benefits include shorter development cycles, a faster development process thanks to ready-made components and predefined styles, and the flexibility of the system opening up space for creativity − an important feature of marketing oriented websites.

It’s worth noting that Daytona was really on a roll with rebranding activities in a true startup manner which meant we had our work cut out for us. Just the way we like it! Fast-paced got an entirely new meaning after we managed to get our designs rolling in just a couple of months.
With their 7k GitHub stars, Daytona has just secured $5M in fresh funding led by Upfront Ventures. They will use the funds to further their mission of simplifying development environments and empowering developers to focus on building great software.
